For The Love of Siam

About Us

Paul & Sarah Brown

Hello & Welcome to our blog.  We are members of New Testament Church of God Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Having completed full-time mission training at the International Mission Centre, Birmingham.  We are now long term mission personnel with BMS World Mission and will be serving in Bangkok Thailand from the end of June 2012.

Paul is a qualified Accounting Technician, previously working for Buckinghamshire County Council.  He provided training and workshops for cost centre managers regarding managing their budgets.

He has a great concern for the young people in our society, so over the years he has been involved with young people and mentoring men with the hope of seeing them reach their full potential.  He also had the pleasure of working within a team to help organise Family Fun day events, which have benefited the wider community of Aylesbury.

Sarah’s background is firmly planted in visual creative arts. Her career roles have been in fashion buying, fashion recruitment and fashion production. She is blessed with the gifts of oil/acrylic painting, fashion design/dressmaking, jewellery making,  floristry and also cake decorating for which she owned her own business ‘Divinely   Inspired Cakes’.

Whilst running her own business Sarah was able to run workshops within the community with various establishments in East London such as Crisis, Hopetown Women’s Hostel, Hopewell School and Trailblazers after school club.

We will be working with NightLight International in Bangkok which is partnered with BMS World Mission.  NightLight reaches out to women and children who have become victims of prostitution, sexual exploitation and sex trafficking, providing them with an economic alternative through teaching them how to make jewellery and life skills.  This offers hope and support and enables them to discover their dignity.  Paul will use his accountancy and mentoring skills, with the hope of reaching out to the men.  Sarah will use her creative abilities reaching out to the women.

We greatly appreciate all your prayers as we serve in Thailand and spread the good news and love of Jesus.

We will be keeping you further updated via prayers letters.  To read or download our prayer letters, you will need the free Adobe Reader.

    Dear Paul and Sarah,

I have been following the inspiring projects you’re involved with in Thailand
and I came across a current opportunity on Thailand bakery project.

I was wondering if I could take part in this role as I am interested
in reaching out to others in need and furthermore I have the skills and experience
in Art including cake baking & decorating.

I am an Australian citizen, who lives in Hong Kong at the moment.
If I could meet you or if you could help refer me to anyone in Thailand,
    I would really appreciate it.

    Thanking you in anticipation.
